Thank you to the PA for the lovely treat for the best boys and girls. The 1st -6th recently attended Fun Day in Coolree and were complimented on how well behaved they were for the whole day, so well done everyone!
Congratulations to our 6th class who graduated this week. We are sad to see them go but excited for them too! We wish them well on their transition to 2nd level.
We had a lovely graduation ceremony in the school followed by tasty treats from the Parents Association.
Our topic for this month is “Summer” so last week we made ice lollies and this week we made milkshakes!
We had a lovely teddy bears picnic, extra playtime, we moulded clay for art and we went fishing in the tuff tray!
We have had a really lovely year! Holidays are very close!
Thank you to Joe and David from Enniscorthy Fire Department who came to visit 3rd and 4th class today to talk to them about fire safety. The children learned lots of ways to prevent fires and what to do when they come across one. We learned about the importance of having smoke alarms, having an escape plan and unplugging our devices at night time along with lots of other important advice.
What a great day! We had so much fun in the sunshine. “Tator Swift” even made an appearance for the spud and spoon race! Well done to all the boys and girls and thanks to Mr. Fitzpatrick for organising.
1st – 3rd class had a fun-filled day for their school tour to Just4Fun Kids in Carlow SETU. There was lots of activities such as inflatables, tug of war, dodgeball and more! Everyone enjoyed the activities and were full of smiles all day!
Well done to Leitrim and Dublin who reached the A final of the Lunchtime League. After a great match, Leitrim got the win. Thanks to Mr Dunphy for stepping in to referee the game. Well done everyone!
4th, 5th and 6th travelled to Dunmore East for their school tour. They spent the day caving, climbing and getting wet! Great day had by all. Check out some of the pictures below.
We are delighted to announce that Caim National school has been awarded the Amber Flag by Pieta House in recognition of our efforts to promote positive mental health. Congratulations to our Wellbeing Committee for all their hard work.
We had a fantastic day in Kia Ora on Tuesday. The staff at the farm even commented on how well the children behaved which is always lovely to hear.
The staff on tour said we would bring them anywhere as they were so good and so much fun!
They’re a great little bunch who made the most of every minute! Well done boys and girls.
