Thank you to the PA for the lovely treat for the best boys and girls. The 1st -6th recently attended Fun Day in Coolree and were complimented on how well behaved they were for the whole day, so well done everyone!

Our topic for this month is “Summer” so last week we made ice lollies and this week we made milkshakes!

We had a lovely teddy bears picnic, extra playtime, we moulded clay for art and we went fishing in the tuff tray!

We have had a really lovely year! Holidays are very close!

What a great day! We had so much fun in the sunshine. “Tator Swift” even made an appearance for the spud and spoon race! Well done to all the boys and girls and thanks to Mr. Fitzpatrick for organising.

4th, 5th and 6th travelled to Dunmore East for their school tour. They spent the day caving, climbing and getting wet! Great day had by all. Check out some of the pictures below.

We had a fantastic day in Kia Ora on Tuesday. The staff at the farm even commented on how well the children behaved which is always lovely to hear.

The staff on tour said we would bring them anywhere as they were so good and so much fun!

They’re a great little bunch who made the most of every minute! Well done boys and girls.

We were having so much fun, we were late coming back to school🙈 Apologies to everyone we kept waiting.

Here’s our photo dump from the day, you can see why we found it so hard to leave!

We enjoyed learning about the zoo for this month. We were trying to pick a favourite topic but it wasn’t easy because we have enjoyed so many of them! Our last topic for the year is summer. Among other things, we will be making lollies and milkshakes! Learning is fun!

We took full advantage of the sunshine on Thursday with a visit to the playground and we had a little picnic outside!

The playground is a fantastic asset to the community and thanks to all involved. We are looking forward to lots more visits. Fingers crossed for lots more sunshine!

We do love Lego in Infants! Check out some of the brilliant things they have built this week!

As part of learning about the farm, Mr. Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Ruth brought in some animals! We had a lamb and a rabbit (called Hazel) in school.

Mr. Fitzpatrick needed ideas for names for his lamb so we had a very important job to do! We really loved having the animals and we learned lots about them ( Farmers don’t like cute rabbits! ) Thanks so much to Mrs Ruth, Tessa and Mr. Fitzpatrick.

We have had such a lovely week learning about our Aistear topic, “The Farm”. We learned lots when attended the Agrikids Farm Safe zoom in Tuesday AND we were very lucky to have a visit from a local farmer, MJ. The children got to have a good look at the tractor. Thanks a million to Joanne and MJ for facilitating that for us.
