We took full advantage of the sunshine on Thursday with a visit to the playground and we had a little picnic outside!

The playground is a fantastic asset to the community and thanks to all involved. We are looking forward to lots more visits. Fingers crossed for lots more sunshine!

We do love Lego in Infants! Check out some of the brilliant things they have built this week!

As part of learning about the farm, Mr. Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Ruth brought in some animals! We had a lamb and a rabbit (called Hazel) in school.

Mr. Fitzpatrick needed ideas for names for his lamb so we had a very important job to do! We really loved having the animals and we learned lots about them ( Farmers don’t like cute rabbits! ) Thanks so much to Mrs Ruth, Tessa and Mr. Fitzpatrick.

We have had such a lovely week learning about our Aistear topic, “The Farm”. We learned lots when attended the Agrikids Farm Safe zoom in Tuesday AND we were very lucky to have a visit from a local farmer, MJ. The children got to have a good look at the tractor. Thanks a million to Joanne and MJ for facilitating that for us.

Lots of lucky ducks going home with Easter eggs today! Congratulations to all the winners and especially, the boys and girls who won the seller prizes in the Easter Raffle. ๐Ÿฃ

Thank you to The Parents’ Association for organising and coming to our assembly today to do the draw.

Go raibh maith agaibh, Rang a Sรฉ. Big thanks to 6th class who organised SnaG 2024.

We played games, decorated doors, learned useful phrases & old sayings, watched cartoons, dressed up, performed a concert and exercised, all using our Irish. Take a look at some of the fun we had. Maith sibh!โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

This week Junior Infants completed their Jolly Phonics sounds programme. 42 sounds!โœ”๏ธ They are flying with their reading as a result.๐ŸŽ‰

On Friday, we celebrated with a little party. ๐Ÿฅณ They are a great little bunch who work hard and really enjoy learning. Well done Junior Infants!

Well done to 5th and 6th who conducted a very interesting experiment on sports’ drinks and their sugar content. You might be surprised by the results!

They attended the Science Blast in the RDS to showcase their work and findings. They will also share the results with the rest of the boys and girls in Caim on Friday at assembly.

Well done everyone. Great day had by all and a big thank you to all staff who facilitated and helped throughout.

Science Blast was a blast!
