What a spooktastic day we have had here in Caim NS! Well done to all of the boys and girls for making such an effort to dress up! Thank you to Ms. Murphy for organising a brilliant disco for all the classes too. We had so much fun! Check out our costumes!
What a quick 6 weeks that was! Over 25 children took part in the Hurling 365 over the past 6 weeks. Huge thanks to Duffry Rovers GAA club and Amanda, our GPO, who organised it. Thanks to the volunteers for giving up their mornings to coach . Well done to all involved. We finished up with an indoor session and Amanda presented all the children with their certificates.

1st and 2nd class have been examining some signs of autumn, and have learned lots about the season from all the lovely parts of nature that they have gathered!

The Mini 7’s football competition is back in action after a two year absence. This week we hosted Courtnacuddy NS and Donard NS in both boys and girls football. Well done to everyone who took part.
Thursday 29th September saw the start of Hurling 365 in our school. Coaches and volunteers from the Duffry Rovers GAA club were up early to get going at 8am. Well done to all the pupils who took part and thank you to the coaches for giving their time to improve the pupil’s hurling skills. Hurling 365 will continue for the next four weeks and is open to all pupils of Caim NS from 1st – 6th Class.
Our 14 Junior Infants have been settling in very well to school life at Caim NS. They have been very busy learning their new routines, making friends, exploring ‘Myself’ through Aistear, going for adventures on the school grounds, as well as lots of learning and fun!
