This year the Winter Olympics take place in Beijing, China. To support the Irish athletes in Beijing we participated in the Road to Beijing Challenge, organised by the Olympic Federation of Ireland.
We started our two week challenge on Friday, 4th February and continued until Friday, 18th February. The challenge aimed to get schools active while learning more about the Winter Olympics, Team Ireland and China.
Each day our school teams logged their physical activity which in turn was converted to a distance that helped their team travel virtually to Beijing. Well done to everyone, it was great to see everyone involved and learning about the Winter Olympics while being active!
