Sure, it’s all fun and games in infants! Lots of learning through play.

We have our costume dress up shop, our batty art, our playdough station and decorating a haunted house!

We have ditched the books for Maths Week and we are playing lots of card games! Dobble has been a big hit!

6th class enjoyed some yoga in the hall when it was too wet to go outside.

6th class enjoyed reading irish stories to Junior and Senior Infants.

We work so well through play. Lots of fun and games in maths and during Aistear this week.

We made the most of the good weather in early September when 6th class accompanied 1st and 2nd class on a walk down the Mass path to pick some in-season, juicy blackberries.

First full week completed! Well done Junior Infants! And what a lovely little bunch! We have started our sounds for reading, we have learned 3 nursery rhymes and we are playing lots of fun games in maths. Next week we will be working/playing in our Aistear stations with the senior infants as we have learned lots about school this week. Looking forward to lots more learning and fun!

We had a lovely first day in the Infant Classroom. We chatted, played games, went on a mini tour and made some new friends. Well done juniors on completing your first day and thank you seniors for all your help! We are looking forward to lots of fun and learning throughout the year!
