First full week completed! Well done Junior Infants! And what a lovely little bunch! We have started our sounds for reading, we have learned 3 nursery rhymes and we are playing lots of fun games in maths. Next week we will be working/playing in our Aistear stations with the senior infants as we have learned lots about school this week. Looking forward to lots more learning and fun!

We had a lovely first day in the Infant Classroom. We chatted, played games, went on a mini tour and made some new friends. Well done juniors on completing your first day and thank you seniors for all your help! We are looking forward to lots of fun and learning throughout the year!

We celebrated World Book Day in Caim NS today. Check out our fabulous doors. Can you you guess the book? A big well done to all the boys and girls who dressed up today, here are some pictures of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes!

We have been busy with our siopa gach Aoine and now we are learning our national anthem to sing weekly at assembly.

Some of 6th class have learned to play the tune of Amhrán na bhFiann on the tin whistle! Maith sibh!

We have been learning about healthy eating in 1st & 2nd class. We made 2 types of fruit smoothies to finish as we had been discussing food groups and intolerances. Some people preferred the dairy, some the non dairy, some couldn’t pick a favourite and some didn’t like either!

Check out these messy faces!

Bhí an craic againn. Bhíomar ag léamh le chéile, ag tarraingt, ag freagair ceisteanna ag an Tráth na gCeist, ag súgradh cluichí agus ag baint taitneamh as ár dteanga.

We had great fun. We were reading together, drawing, answering questions at the table quiz, playing games and enjoying using our language☘️.

Míle buíochas👏👏👏 Rang a Sé🙌🙌🙌

Maith sibh! Lots of craic… go raibh míle maith agaibh Rang a Sé☘️ more fun next week!

Seachtain na Gaeilge gets the 👍 up☘️

We constructed scenes from the novel we have been reading. The children really enjoyed planning their scene, gathering their materials and working together/ independently to bring it to life as a diorama! Check them out!
