I think this might be our favourite topic so far in Infants! We have learned loads and had so much fun doing so๐ฐ๐๐๐พโ๏ธ๐จโ๐.
We have had a lovely first week back in the infant classroom. We are really enjoying learning about space!
A lovely, fun-filled, high energy week in the infant classroom๐ . We made hot chocolate, went to mass, visited the crib, worked in Santa’s workshop, made some fabulous Christmas trees in art, ate pizza, wore our Christmas jumpers, did our festive exercises and had lots of playtime! Roll on 12pm tomorrow and let the holidays begin๐ .
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe Christmas.
Congratulations to the winners of the A final, Kerry who beat Tyrone.
And well done to the winners of the B final, where Wexford beat Dublin.
Thanks to all involved, especially Mr. Fitzpatrick and Mr. Kavanagh.
Well done Infants! You were brilliant ๐. We had a little party to celebrate ๐ฅณ and extra playtime, as promised!
And that’s a wrap! We have had to the best couple of days. All our hard work definitely paid off! The children of Caim N.S. delivered a great show, enjoyed by all. Well done to everyone involved, especially all our stars on stage. And huge thanks to everyone in the community who helped make this happen. Merry Christmas from Caim NS.
Another lovely week! We have been busy practising for the “Christmas Concert” and we were busy learning about the “magic” of science with Catherine. We were sewing in juniors and we had 6th class visit to read to us as Gaeilge.
Do you know what chromatography is? Well juniors to second class in Caim do, thanks to Catherine Doyle and her helpers! We saw how the colours in the markers separated to show how they were made.
The grand finale was very impressive! We made elephant toothpaste ๐๐ฆท and a big mess!
Thanks to Catherine and her helpers for a fun filled lesson in the wonders of science!
Our topic this month is homes. We designed, constructed, created and even made some dinners. Busy, busy! Thanks to all the helpers who bought passes in the siopa!
We practised lots of fine motor skills whilst completing our maths stations and we used our tuff tray for lots of letter recognition games in junior infants.
We read, we predicted, we recounted, we sequenced, we analysed characters and then we had a colouring challenge! Great job everyone and big well done to the boys!
